Making an Installation CD

To make an ubuntu cd you will need three things; a blank cd, a computer capable of burning cds, a cd burning application, and the ubuntu ISO file.
InfraRecorder: http://infrarecorder.org/
Ubuntu ISO: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
Once downloaded and installed open your infrredcorder and click the Burn Image button. Then select the iso file that you have downloaded and burn that to your blank cd. Finally you have an ubuntu cd, to install ubuntu follow the instructions in my post titled “Installing Ubuntu”

I want ubuntu on my computer so i went to http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download and used free download manager to download it because i live out in the country so there are breaks in the internet connection but when the download stopped i tried to restart it but it said “Access denied. Invalid username or password”. Now what do i do? and its seriously 699 Megabytes. There’s no way i can download it without having a break in the connection.

You can order a free cd from the ubuntu site, it will take a couple weeks to reach your house but is worth it if you cannot download the iso
